In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the Council’s intention to consider whether to increase the City Primary Property Tax Levy and decrease Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts Property Taxes at a Regular Meeting of the Scottsdale City Council to be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 5:00 PM, at Scottsdale City Hall Kiva Forum, 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona. Meetings are broadcast electronically through Cox Cable Channel 11 and streamed online at ScottsdaleAZ.gov (search “live stream”). To find the agenda for this meeting and information about the opportunity for public participation and comment, visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov and search “City Council agenda”.


It is the Council’s intention to consider whether to formally adopt the Property Tax levies and the Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts levy by ordinance on June 27, 2023. These proposed levies will be discussed in a Truth in Taxation hearing and formal public hearings at the June 13, 2023 City Council Meeting.  After adoption, these tax rates and levies will be effective for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.


A schedule of the proposed property tax rates and levies and the written report supporting the proposed possible increase in the primary property tax, and the schedule and written report supporting the proposed decreased tax levies for the Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts were posted on the City’s website on April 27, 2023 and are available on the City’s website.
